PIN CURLS
Pin curl styles started back in the 1940′s with Audrey Hepburn making them fashionable. Luckily these types of curls are still in style and a lot of women try everyday to achieve this mysterious style. Here is how you get the style without making the trip to the hairdresser:

1- You will need bobby pins or clips for this style.
2- Wash your hair and gently towel dry. Your hair should remain wet, but not totally dry.
3- Section your hair into rows and then square sections
4- Grab a small section of hair and apply a setting lotion to your hair. This will help “set” your curls and make them last longer.
5- Wrap the section of hair around your finger and roll it into a curl. Use a bobby pin or silver hair clip and place it at the bottom of the curl.
6- Once hair is fully dry, then remove the pins and run your fingers through your hair or comb slightly.
7- You will have lovely pin curls reminiscent of the 1940′s era.

WET SET
Wet sets are preferred by a lot of women because these styles produce longer lasting curls and provide a lot more body than other styles.
1- Wash and condition your hair as normal. Gently towel dry.
2- Apply a setting lotion or gentle hair gel. This will help “set” the curls.
3- If you want more body in your hair, apply a little bit of mousse as well.
4- Style your hair, as you know you will want to wear it when finished. For example, if you want to wear your hair away from your face, then comb the hair back. If you want a small part on the side, then make a part.
5- Start at the front hairline and section off a piece of hair.
6- Use the hair rollers in your hair for each section of hair. If you want big curls, use bigger rollers. For fuller and smaller curls, use small curlers.
7- You can sit underneath a hair dryer for about an hour, depending on the thickness of your hair. You can also let your hair air dry, however this will take a few hours. In order to achieve the perfect wet set, your hair should be completely dry before removing the rollers.
8- Once your hair is dry, remove the rollers and run your fingers through your hair and touch up with a bit of hair spray.
