Inner beauty is more precious to outer beauty. Beauty when we hear this word, first thing that comes to our mind is a person’s physical appearance. But inner beauty is different from outer beauty. Inner beauty is defined as beauty situated farther inside the mind or spirit. Inner beauty is a part of one’s well-being , lifestyle and personality.
Inner beauty radiates outside. Inner beauty likes knowledge and qualities which reflect on our face. Inner beauty is love about our self, every other human being, your kindness, sympathies, compassion, generosity, patience, confidence and attitude. The beautiful atmosphere enhances our beauty and confidence as well. Our life is what we make of it. If we feel positive about ourselves, admire beauty of other things and people, our inner beauty will increase. We should ignore the comments and criticism of others. We should be a role model to others by our good character.
People say beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. But I realize it’s wrong. Beauty is not in the eye of the beholder, beauty is in the standards given by society and media for us as individuals to manufacture and create a standard for beauty. Society and media change our perspectives, our outlooks and our morals. We’re told in order to be a beautiful we need to wear the clothes, makeup and hair products that the celebrities wear. We shouldn’t be killing ourselves to look beautiful. We already have beauty inside us. Inner beauty can only grow stronger. We should worry about our heart and goodness, not how our clothes, hair or makeup looks. Beauty shines from inside out. Don’t look others as ugly or beautiful, just as beautiful.
We all know that ‘beauty is only skin deep,’ but we live in a culture that seems to reinforce the idea that that’s all that matters anyway. But this is not what God says to us. Another way God wants to focus to grow our understanding of true and lasting beauty, and to focus on cultivating this.
